Incorporation of Indian Culture and Ethos in the Game
The game mechanics are inspired by the ancient Indian dice and race game Pachisi and its later adaption Ludo. It follows the theme of “ENVIRONMENT” and is inspired by the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan started in the year 2014.
The elements have been inspired by rural Andhra, incorporating the lacquer craft of Etikoppaka in the pawns, and the Kalamkari art of Machilipatnam in the graphics of the board.

How our Toy is Different From Existing Toys ?
While there are certain games which focus upon aspects of incorrect waste disposal, our game provides a journey for the player to both understand and enjoy the fundamental process of COLLECTION – SEGREGATION – DISPOSAL.
It focuses upon building a sense of pride treating the trash collected as an achievement which further brings about a sense of loss when the trash is disposed off incorrectly or when other players acquire your trash. It establishes the motto of “Your trash is my trash” thus building excitement in the process of collection of trash.
The penalties present in the game which highlight the most common faulty methods of waste disposal, not only affect the trash but also causes losses to the players. Throwing away trash in waterbodies and burning it is not only destroying the environment but also the ones who partake in it, and that is exactly what the game is teaching its players subtly.
Segregation is as important as correct disposal of trash in this game. Segregation holds more value than mere collection in this game. The players who manage to not only collect but also segregate the trash take away the crown in the end.
The games’ simple and easy to understand game play promotes collective and subconscious learning. The players are hooked on to the game as it’s mechanics are designed to immerse you into a world of adventure, competition, pride, loss, rewards and to emerge as the ultimate winner by being a responsible citizen.
Additionally, the game promotes lateral learning for parents, as kids at home will keep a check on and correct their family members' wrong waste management practices.
Dumpshot can be commercialized through MSMEs and toy enterprises like Funskool, Hasbro, and Mattel, as both a board game and a digital game.
